The Sonata pointe shoe shank/insole is not secured at the heel, with less resistance past the breakpoint the dancer will feel well supported and uplifted when 'en pointe'. Inside the box at the platform is a soft sponge cushion insert which gives added comfort and protection when standing 'en pointe' also acting as a shock absorber. This shoe actively supports the dancer with flexible arches under the metatarsals while still allowing the foot to arch at the three quarter. Fine cushioning under the pleats soften the sound of the box.

Inner rubber toe cushion - Comfort when standing 'en pointe'
Unsecured insole at heel - Allows heel to arch away from instep

Pointe shoes should be professionally fitted. Only order if you are certain of your exact style, size and width of shoe.
No refunds or exchanges will be given on pointe shoes for change of mind or incorrect size selection.
If you find your shoe is out of stock please call our store on 08 8231 9554 or email hello@thestageshop.com.au as we may be able to source a pair or advise how long this shoe will be on backorder for. We may also be able to offer an alternative shoe.

30-Day Returns
We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of you receiving your order, provided items are:
- Unworn and unwashed - trying on for fit is fine
- In original condition - no marks, dirt, odours or damage
- With all tags attached and in original packaging
Non-Returnable Items
For health and hygiene reasons, we're unable to accept returns on tights, underwear and body jewellery (eg. earrings). Please choose carefully.
Gift cards are also non-returnable.
