Adult dancers deserve a range built around the way they train, not around a junior syllabus. Our women’s collection brings together leotards, tops, tights, skirts, shorts, bras, warm-ups and dance shoes from Energetiks, Bloch, Capezio and more, with options for ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and stage work. Whether you’re training seriously or returning to class because you missed it, the range is built around movement, fit and feeling good in the studio.
Adult dancers do not all arrive at the studio for the same reason, and the wardrobe should leave room for that. Women’s dancewear covers leotards, tights, layers and underpinnings; women’s dance shoes cover ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, character and ballroom. Whether the class is a serious training block or the best hour of the week, the pieces should feel properly made for dance.
For recreational adult dancers, there is no requirement to “earn” proper dancewear. If a real leotard, ballet shoe or studio layer helps you feel more comfortable and more like yourself in class, that is enough reason to choose it. Good dancewear should welcome you into the work, not make you feel like an outsider to it.
